PSB College plans to construct new facility

HCMC-based Cetana PSB Intellis School on Monday announced to build a new campus in Long Thoi, Nha Be District with the new trade name PSB College Vietnam after joining forces with PSB Academy in Singapore.

Vinodh Coomaraswamy, general director of PSB College Vietnam, said on Monday that PSB College Vietnam and PSB Academy would bring an international study environment to Vietnamese students. With the cooperation of PSB Academy Singapore, Vietnamese students will have the chance to study at PSB College as freshmen then move to PSB Academy Singapore to continue their studies. “It will help Vietnamese students save time and money when they want to follow an international learning program,” Coomaraswamy said. He said that PSB College planned to develop a six-hectare facility in Long Thoi of Nha Be District and diversify teaching programs within the next five years.
According to Coomaraswamy, Vietnam’s education sector is wide open to investors who can enjoy preferential policies in land ownership rights and income tax. In addition, Vietnamese students are eager for international learning programs. In the next five years, PSB will continue providing programs related to business administration, hotel administration, marketing, sales management and human resource management. PSB College is a 100% foreign owned school in HCMC offering internationally recognized diploma and certificate programs in business and management. The qualifications the school offers are recognized by PSB Academy in Singapore. According to the HCMC Department of Education and Training, HCMC is the country’s biggest education market. The city has attracted 61 education-related investment projects worth US$3.6 billion up to date.
